JavaScript frameworks

Post by Nwobueze » Thu Jan 24, 2019 10:34 pm

JavaScript been a programming language can be used in many ways though it's used mainly in client-side.
It has frameworks which makes development easier and faster.

It is essential to find the correct platform for your app to be built around. Popularity may not be an indicator of what is best for your project, but taking a look at the most popular selections may give you some ideas for something that fits your project requirements. Let's go ahead and take a look at the most popular JavaScript
frameworks

>> React.js
React is a framework that was originally created, and is
maintained, by Facebook. This provides a huge weight
on the scales when choosing it for a project. It gives
React sense of stability that many new frameworks
lack.

>>Angular.js
Angular is the powerhouse that sits next to React at the
top of the charts for JavaScript frameworks. Angular 2+
has had literally years of development behind it, and
Angular.js was representative of a lot of lessons that
aided the development of Angular 2 and future versions.

>> vue.js
Vue is growing into maturity, being now several years
old, but is still looked at as a new player in the
JavaScript framework scene. The growth of the Vue
community is stellar.

>>Meteor.js
Meteor is a “full stack framework”. The fact that it is
full stack means that you can control everything from
the database to the UI with the same language and the
same framework, and it is one of Meteor’s primary
advantages.

>>Ember.js
Ember.js is focused on getting things done, and getting
them done quickly. Ember is a more opinionated
framework, funneling developers into best practices for
the platform. This makes it much easier for projects to
get started, but some may chafe at limitations. It also
provides several external tools to help developers
along.

>>backbone.js
Backbone has been around for a long time (a very long
time, as JavaScript frameworks go), but it is still
incredibly prevalent, both in legacy applications and in
newer projects that need a less prescriptive framework
or library to build on top of.

Your choice of framework depends on the kind of project

Has anyone tried integrating Isogenic with other JS frameworks, like Backbone or Angular?

I ask because I am currently developing a game that requires a lot of modal windows and menu screens. The kinds of input required from the user do not seem to be handled very well natively by Isogenic ie. some parts of the game require users to upload images from their computer. AFAIK there is no file-input in Isogenic, so I was thinking of offloading any UI-related heavy lifting to another framework, then co-ordinating between the two. There doesnt seem to be any easy way of making Isogenic "talk" to other frameworks though. Has anyone tried this before?

Isogenic game engine was built entirely with JavaScript and using Node.js as the back-end. It allows one write from front to back.
Trying to integrate other JavaScript frameworks to it seems a little ambiguous....
Isogenic itself has good API for your User Interface (graphics)....
Isogenic official page https://www.isogenicengine.com/docs-man ... e-examples

For API reference check https://www.isogenicengine.com/docs-reference.html

There's always a way. Buh needs some tricks. No specification on how to integrate with other JavaScript frameworks... You can use Isogenic to build your games without integration, then use frameworks for other functions of your page

I was thinking about the same but different framework like qooxdoo inside Isogenic. It is very good framework to build all UI interface. Somebody tried to integrate it or similar with IGE ?
